Vul. Henerala Chuprynky, 17 – residential building ID: 1501

This private residence was constructed between 1892 and 1893, based on a design by builder Kazimierz Teodorowicz from the design bureau of the architect and builder Ivan Levynskyi. A detached structure, it is surrounded along its perimeter by a belt of gardens and flowerbeds. Originally designed at the end of the nineteenth century as a modest cottage with a veranda, the building underwent a significant remodeling in 1923–1924. This reconstruction added new avant-corps to the northern end and expanded the upper floor and the attic beneath a pyramidal roof. Through these changes, the house was transformed into a spacious villa featuring a large hall, redesigned in the Art Deco style.
