    Vul. Lychakivska, 99 – cinema (not implemented) ID: 1923

    The "Patria" movie theater was scheduled to open in 1939 in the building at what is now vul. Lychakivska 99. However, due to the outbreak of World War II, the theater never began operations.

    Story

    The "Patria" movie theater was set to open in 1939 at vul. Lychakivska 99 in a sports hall adapted for film screenings (with the conversion designed by architect Stefan Meczynski). However, due to the outbreak of World War II, the theater never actually opened. The operating license was granted in 1939 to Eugenia Jozefa Berezowska.

      The building was constructed between 1925 and 1932 according to a design by architects Mykhailo Ryba and Mykhailo Luzhetskyi for the "Sokol IV" gymnastics society. During the Soviet period, it housed the Museum of the Carpathian Military District Forces, and today it serves as the Center for Children and Youth Creativity of the Lychakiv District. The building is listed as an Architectural monument of local significance.

    Eugenia Jozefa Berezowska –– born on March 8, 1896, in Kraków; married; of the Roman Catholic faith. She also owned the building at ul. Obwodowa 3 (vul. I. Trusha).
