    Vul. Kopernyka, 42 – the Teacher's House ID: 417

    The former Bielski Palace (today, as of 2009 — the Teacher's House; 1921–1923, architect –– Jan Bagieński). Neoclassicism. The site on which the palace was constructed is separated from the street by a fence with a gate. To the west, it adjoins buildings from the early twentieth century. The complex of interiors includes a grand hall. An example of interwar architecture in Lviv.

    Architecture

    The building is a brick structure, rectangular in plan. It is a two-tier structure featuring a three-story avant-corps, which is configured with a colonnaded portico and topped by an attic. An arcade is arranged on the first tier. The windows are trimmed. There is sculptural decor in the niches above the windows.

    The complex of interiors includes a grand hall.

    The building is an example of interwar architecture in Lviv.

    Jan Bagieński – Jan Aleksander Bagieński (24 January 1883, Soroca, Bessarabia – 12 June 1967, Lviv) was an engineer architect and teacher. Bagieński did the reconstruction of this building in neoclassical style in 1923.
