Vul. Doroshenka, 45 – residential building ID: 710
This residential building, part of the street's perimeter block development, is set back from the building frontage line and situated on complex terrain. It was constructed according to a 1938 design by architect Solomon Keil for Józef Minzer. The structure serves as a characteristic example of Lviv residential architecture from the 1930s.
Architecture
The building was constructed in the Functionalist style. It is a five-story brick structure, plastered and nearly rectangular in layout. The internal layout is of a sectional type, featuring two sections per floor, with reinforced concrete ceilings. The main entrance is shifted to the left, recessed into the plane of the façade wall and emphasized by a column. In the composition of the principal elevation, the primary role is played by a rhythmic row of window openings, which are vertically joined by recessed panels and separated by pilasters. The first floor is decorated with banded rustication.
As a designated monument, the building is a characteristic example of Lviv's residential architecture from the 1930s.
