Vul. Vyshenskoho, 31 – residential building
(1908). This is a residential building located among the perimeter constructions of the street. It was built in the Art Nouveau style according to the design by architect Agenor Imduchowski from the art studio of architect Adam Opolski for Maria Rek.
Architecture
This two-story building is made of plastered brick and is rectangular in its layout. The internal planning is sectional with an enfilade layout of the premises; the ceilings are flat. The composition of the main façade of the building is asymmetric with reinforced sides and is crowned with a stylized triangular side wall. The socle is riveted with natural stone. A balcony with a delicate metalwork fence on wrought iron consoles protrudes on the level of the second floor. The building is crowned with an arched frieze and a profiled cornice with a small projection. Wooden stairs with wrought iron railings have been preserved in the interior.
This building is a vivid example of Modern architecture.
