    The narrator lives in Lviv on Akademika Bohomoltsia Street, 6. The narrator discusses the circumstances in which she moved to Lviv, and then later to Akademika Bohomoltsia Street. She recalls the neighbors in the building, re-planning and renovation of the premises, and also in general about the street.We have preserved the interviewee's/interviewees' original language in the partial transcript.

      Будинок № 6 по вул. Академіка Богомольця:

      Отримання квартири. Я прийшла сюда, він (чоловік, був вдівцем) вже був старший… Він получив, також був з Польщі… і так тую хату чи він купив чи йому надали, ну я не знаю… кімнату мав і кухню осібну, там в куті…

      Сусіди. … тут жили, але вже повмирали або виїхали… Там (навпроти, де зараз знаходиться Центр) повмирали, їх вже нема. … була вчителька, вони дали її хату, вона виїхала… А там дальше я не знаю…, там на верху тоже не знаю чи вони скорше прийшли, чи пізніше… Я не (контактувала)… зі сусідами…

      Перепланування помешкання. Ні, в нас тут ніхто не робив… Так як було, так і є… Ніхто нічого не робив… Білити, білила… Але шось таке робити, то нє… 


      Вул. Академіка Богомольця:

      … на тій вулиці я дуже не знаю нічого… 


      Інше:

      Попереднє місце проживання. По вул. Щербакова (сучасна вул. М. Грушевського) на першому поверсі, чотири кімнати, в райісполкомі, начальник, то він собі взяв… (16 років бавила дитину в сім’ї, що проживала на вул. Щербакова). 

      Центр–околиці Львова. Я там туда (околиці) не їздила…

      • Vul. Akademika Bohomoltsia, 6 – Center for Urban History of East Central Europe building

        A three-storied building was constructed in 1906 under a project developed at the bureau of Ivan Levynskyi (Jan Lewiński) as an apartment house belonging to Leon Stauber, an entrepreneur. The principal façade was designed by architect Tadeusz Obmiński. This ornamental Secession style building is one of the best examples of this style in Lviv and has been listed as an architectural monument (protection number 6). Today, much of it is occupied by the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe.
