Andriy Shulyar

A researcher of Lviv's soviet modernist architecture, author of architectural descriptions of Lviv's buildings

Shulyar graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic National University with a dissertation entitled, "Typology of multifunctional residential and public complexes." He has published on such complexes on the examples of Ukraine, as well as Lviv more specifically. In 2010 he joined the faculty of the Department of Architectural Design at Lviv Polytechnic. He received his master's degree from the Institute of Architecture at Lviv Polytechnic in 2005. Shulyar was also a Fulbright scholar at the College of Architecture and Design at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and stayed there to complete his Master of Architecture degree (2008-2010).
