Andriy Bondarenko holds a PhD in philosophy (Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin). His thesis was on "Social Freedom and Globalization." He obtained his master’s and specialist degrees at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Academic interests: social history of housing, postwar history of Lviv, cultural geography, modern historiography, urban routine, practice of memory.
